how to submit your speech 2008
This year, we are offering you three ways of submitting your speech.
Method 1 – Over the Internet
Our preferred method is that you record your speech directly over the internet. In this case you will not need to submit an application form, as you will fill in your details before you record your speech. If you use this facility, you can record your speech, listen to it, and re-record it as many times as you wish. When you are happy with your speech, click “send” to submit your speech.
PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK THAT YOUR SPEECH HAS ACTUALLY RECORDED BEFORE CLICKING SEND.

Method 2 – Electronic Recording
Make a recording of your speech and save it as an mp3 file or wav file.
Your file name should be ‘YOUR SURNAME_SCHOOL NAME’
Eg ‘Smith_Brookes’ if your name is M Smith and your school is Brookes Secondary School.
Burn it onto a CD and submit it with AN APPLICATION FORM.

If multiple students are applying from the same school, you can burn their speeches on the same CD.
Method 3 – Tape
This is our least preferred method, but if you cannot record your speech in any other way, you are welcome to record it onto a tape. Submit your tape with an application form.
